Indian Pickleball League Backer Leads Logo Unveiling, Sees Sport Growing ‘More Than 10 Times’

The franchise-based Indian Pickleball League (IPBL) has taken another bold step with the unveiling of its new logo. The logo, featuring a pickleball on fire and in motion, was revealed during the 70th Hyundai Filmfare Awards with Gujarat Tourism in Ahmedabad over the weekend.
Backed by the Indian Pickleball Association (IPA) and a brainchild of The Times Group, the IPBL will be the first national franchise-based league in India and is yet another testament to pickleball’s massive popularity in the subcontinent. Vineet Jain, Managing Director of The Times Group, led the logo unveiling for the league that will be co-organised by the PWR Indian League and Tour Pvt. Ltd.
“I am very excited because we are the only official Indian Pickleball League in India,” Jain told Times Now on the sidelines of the 70th Filmfare Awards.
According to the IPA, which is recognised by the Ministry of Youth Affairs and Sports, Government of India, the logo “embodies the spirit of India’s growing pickleball community—energetic, fast-paced, and full of momentum.” Indeed it is, and Jain himself sees the sport taking off even more. Already regarded as the fastest-growing sport in the world, The Times Group executive believes that growth will only continue in the months and years ahead.

“I think it is going to grow more than 10 times… In fact, I am quite surprised. Guess which state has got the maximum pickleball courts? Gujarat,” Jain further told Times Now.
More details about the Indian Pickleball League—the schedule, venues, team ownership, and player signings—are expected to be announced soon.
