MLP Asia Unveils Championship Rings for Inaugural Season, With Opener 10 Days Away

Every championship needs something to play for, and MLP Asia has just shown what the winners of its first season will be wearing. With 10 days to go until the season opener on 13 November 2026, the league has revealed the Championship Rings, and they’re quite something.

A Closer Look at the MLP Asia Ring

The ring is gold, topped with an orange enamel pickleball taken from the MLP logo. The ball sits raised on a navy base with seven gold-lined holes, all inside a golden border with raised lettering. Two rows of clear stones frame the face.

On the side, the word “CHAMPION” sits above the MLP Asia logo in navy and orange, set against a textured golden background and framed with more stones.

These will be the first Championship Rings in MLP Asia history. They’ll be handed out on Super Saturday, 12 December, when the league crowns its inaugural champions.

How the MLP Asia Season Will Unfold

The season begins on the weekend of 13 and 14 November. On Friday, THE DOTS TOKYO host Manila Helios and Malayan Stripes on Match Day 1 in Japan. On Saturday, the Hong Kong Cannons host Viet Panthers and Dragon Warriors on Match Day 2 in Hong Kong, China. Play starts at 6 pm local time each night.

For fans in the Philippines, Match Day 1 in Tokyo starts at 5 pm Manila time, since Japan is an hour ahead. Match Day 2 in Hong Kong starts at 6 pm, the same as Manila.

From there, each team gets a match day in front of its home fans. The regular season runs across three weeks, with two match days each week, on Friday and Saturday. There’s a break week between the second and third weeks. After the third week, the final standings will decide which four teams move on to the MLP Asia Finals 2026.

The Road to Super Saturday

The top four teams meet in the finals, starting with the semifinals on Friday, 11 December. The winners advance to Super Saturday on 12 December, where both the bronze and the gold are decided. The team that takes gold becomes the first MLP Asia champion, and takes home the rings.

With Asian pickleball already enjoying a busy end to the year, MLP Asia’s team format gives fans in the region something different: a home-and-away league where local pride is on the line.
