Singapore has opened new courts again for its growing pickleball community. This comes after SportSG completed the repurposing of waiting sheds at Little India Bus Terminal into the ActiveSG Courts @ Farrer Park.
ActiveSG Courts @ Farrer Park houses eight brand-new pickleball courts and was officially opened by SportSG on 14 March 2026, or five months after it first filed the necessary paperwork—a request for quotation—to begin retrofitting Singapore’s Little India Bus Terminal into a pickleball facility.
The spanking new facility is located right at the heart of Little India Bus Terminal at 5A Race Course Road, Singapore 219775, 6 minutes from Little India MRT. The terminal comprises two sheltered structures that are used only on Sundays and serve as a pick-up point for private buses that ferry migrant workers back to their dormitories from Little India. These pick-ups, however, take place only on Sundays. Hence, the two structures are mostly unused from Monday to Saturday—until now.
With the opening of ActiveSG Courts @ Farrer Park, pickleball players can use the facility from Monday through Friday from 9:00 a.m. to 9:00 p.m. The venue reverts to its original purpose of being a terminal on Sundays, when the pickleball facilities are unavailable for booking.
ActiveSG Courts @ Farrer Park’s pickleball courts are now open for bookings via the MyActiveSG+ app. Peak-hour slots will be balloted, while the rest go to the fastest fingers. Adult Singaporean residents can enjoy a game for just $2.50, while the standard rate for non-residents is $3.30. Students and senior citizens get a discounted rate of $1.50 per session.
For now, ActiveSG Courts @ Farrer Park houses only pickleball courts. But SportSG is already looking at plans to roll out 50 new multi-use courts across the island over the next five years under the Sports Facilities Master Plan, whose ultimate goal is to place sports facilities within a 10-minute walk of most homes by 2030.
