James Ignatowich Thanks Asia for Bulk Orders, Taking RPM to Next Level

Do not be surprised one bit if RPM, pickleball pro James Ignatowich’s very own paddle brand, soon becomes one of the leading paddle manufacturers in the world. And if that were to happen, expect Asia to be one of the company’s biggest markets.

That is because Asian stores and individual pickleball players are already buying Ignatowich’s paddles in bulk—just two months after the decorated pro hard launched the brand in September. This warm reception is not lost on Ignatowich, who took to X to thank Asia for the bulk orders.

“Shoutout to the individuals and storefront locations in Japan, Vietnam, Malaysia, Hong Kong, and Singapore for ordering in bulk and helping take RPM to the next level,” wrote Ignatowich on X.

In a separate post earlier, Ignatowich acknowledged that neither he nor his team expected orders to come fast and furious, whether in the US or anywhere else in the world. Even so, he described this positive development as “cool to see.”

“Cool to see at least 30 RPMs on the courts in Vegas this week. We are sold out again, even though our last batch was our biggest ever,” Ignatowich wrote in a post on 27 October 2025. “None of us expected this many orders this quickly. Marwan is currently watching another 5,000 RPMs get made, which land in the US in 7–10 days.”

While Ignatowich admits the bulk orders are a pleasant surprise, he probably should not have been too shocked by it. RPM’s paddles are designed by Ignatowich himself, admitting previously that he spent six hours or more a day for about a year just dissecting paddles from every manufacturer and trying out his own designs to find the perfect one. So, it just might be possible that he has made the perfect paddle—or maybe something close to it.

In that case, the former Selkirk Sport ambassador might have to prepare his team for even more orders in the future—especially here in Asia.
